CBP announces a new ACE validation deploying July 18, 2026 for import adjustment offsets related to Section 232 duties on automobile and medium/heavy-duty vehicle parts, with updates to the ACE CATAIR Error Dictionary adding new error codes for auto part credit processing.

CBP announced that on April 21, 2026 it will deploy two new ACE error validations (FD12 and FD13) for drawback claims related to Section 232 duties on Medium- and Heavy-Duty Vehicle Parts and Automobile Parts from South Korea, with an updated Drawback Error Dictionary to be posted on cbp.gov.

CBP deployed new ACE Drawback error validations (FD12 and FD13) to the CERT environment to support drawback claims involving eligible Section 232 auto/truck parts tariffs, with production deployment scheduled for April 21, 2026. An updated draft Drawback Error Dictionary is available in the CATAIR.

CBP provides guidance on the reauthorization of AGOA, Haiti HOPE, and Haiti HELP trade preference programs through December 31, 2026, including instructions for filing SPI codes, resuming quota claims, and requesting retroactive duty refunds for entries made during the program lapse from October 1, 2025 through February 3, 2026. It clarifies that refunds apply only to general ad valorem duties and not to AD/CVD, Section 232, MPF, or IEEPA-related duties, and sets an August 2, 2026 deadline for refund requests.

CBP announced a new ACE Reports tool (TR-015 Section 232 Auto Credit) that allows importers and brokers to track import adjustment offset amounts claimed against Section 232 automobile parts duties by license number.

CBP announced Harmonized System Update (HSU) 2601 and 2602, which include tariff schedule updates such as Section 232 semiconductor-related HTS changes, Fall 2025 484(f) updates, and 2025 Cotton Fee assessments.

CBP issued guidance implementing the January 14, 2026 Section 232 Proclamation imposing 25% ad valorem duties on certain semiconductors and derivative products, detailing new HTSUS 9903.79.xx reporting provisions, exclusions, drawback ineligibility, and FTZ treatment.
